The Story Behind Our Handmade Pet Beds
Durable, Handmade Pet Beds by Nikki's Nesties in the UK
Nesties were first created all the way back in 2015, when founder Nikki realised that pet beds would only last around three months. She felt there was a need for beds that were super comfy for her pets, but also very sturdy and would see a pet happy from puppy to senior. Despite only originally making one for herself and a friend, Nikki and her husband Ric now make thousands of Nesties for many happy pets every year. With everything being handmade from start to finish, and all the best quality, hard-wearing materials being used, quality is guaranteed. A lot of passion and care are put into every Nestie made, ensuring your pet has a cosy bed fit for your best friend.
The Nikki's Nesties Difference.
At Nikkis Nesties, we pride ourselves on using only 100% genuine, high-quality materials designed for durability. Our specially sourced thread is made to resist rotting and fraying, our fabric is tough and hard-wearing, and our filling is premium sofa-grade for long-lasting support.
Each Nestie is carefully made to be both comfortable and built to last. On average, our beds last over 5 years, with some customers still using theirs from as far back as 2016 in excellent condition.
Over a 5-year lifespan, a Nestie costs roughly £25 per year—making it a much more economical choice compared to frequently replacing lower-quality beds.
Designed to handle constant digging, dragging, and everyday use, Nesties maintain their shape without flattening. The wipe-clean interior also makes them ideal from puppy through to senior years—accidents are no problem, as a quick cover change and simple wipe leaves everything fresh and clean.
Please note: Nesties are not soft and squishy. When new, they are intentionally firm, as each section is hand-stuffed to capacity to ensure they hold their shape and provide consistent support over time.

What Our Customers Say
Custom Cushion Cones is a 5* rating, or 8 bananas ! I cannot recommend Nikki’s nesties enough. I barely slept for a week and after trying 5 different types of cones off amazon nothing worked, nor did they fit my French bulldog. So I asked Google AI for inspiration out of shear desperation and about half a dozen come up. As I looked through the list the one company that called to me was Nikki’s Nesties, as Google said they customised them pacifically for French bulldog breeds, or dogs with unique head and neck sizes. Nikki sent out this customised cushion cone faster than ANY amazon prime delivery, like WOW. I put that cone on her and my dog slept for 10 hours solid, absolutely wonderful result. When my dog has been back and forth to the vets with her eye ulcer ( hence the cone) EVERYONE smiled and fussed her. It literally put so many smiles on everyone’s face. I emailed my vet with the name of this company, as I feel every dog g deserves the very best cone if needed and trust me these are the very BEST ! So my closing remarks will be this…. The cone of shame is no longer…. It’s now the Custome Cushion Cone of comfort, contentment and extremely classy. As you can tell I HIGHLY recommend this lady’s company you will not be disappointed. Thank you Nikki you are amazing ????. From a plastic brachial designed plastic cone to her Custom Cushion Cone was like night and day and on the second picture she was so comfortable she was falling asleep as it was a huge relief to be able to snuggle up and sleep peacefully once again.

Couldn't recommend enough. Firstly the owner Nikki (i think) is so lovely, friendly and helpful. Ive wanted one of their beds for ages so have messaged multiple times over the years. Recently I asked a fair few questions as my Labrador has really slowed down and struggled with her joints. Instead of lying to get a sale she explained how the term orthopedic isnt actually measured or confirmed by anything so any brand can claim their beds are orthopedic. From seeing other people's reviews I bought a nestie. I also got a soft cone as my Lab is petrified of the hard, plastic ones and she is happily wearing it which is such a relief as shes had an operation to remove a cancerous lump. Both the nestie and the neckie are fantastic quality, arrived quickly and are just amazing. Yes theyre not cheap but you get what you pay for. Can't recommend enough. Thank you Nikki

Exceptional customer service, quick and speedy delivery. Absolutely beautiful cone, more comfortable than the horrible plastic ones from the vets. Comes with an extra piece of fabric to increase the size of the neck line if needed. Would highly recommend both the product and company.
